Job Responsibilities
Work with designers & collaboratively own the front-end layer of Cleartrip products
Specialize in building responsive and elegant web UIs with AJAX and similar technologies
Create fully-functional, production-ready prototypes to be plugged-in directly to various web-services/ backend
Responsible for reviewing, analyzing and familiarizing himself/ herself with the current UI framework
Design, Architect, & Maintain front-end libraries across Cleartrip products
Collaborate with back-end engineers, understanding platforms (Java & Ruby on Rails) & handing off front-end code for implementation
Work on advanced Front end technologies and deal with ultimate challenges on performance and scalability
Employing highly optimized & semantic front-end techniques
Desired Skillsets
Atleast 3-8 years of product development experience with expertise in designing and implementing high performance web applications
Strong hands on experience in developing rich web applications using JavaScript and AJAX (knowledge in HTML 5)
Familiar with optimization techniques (both in file weight and perceived/actual processing speed)
Unit testing & debugging techniques, dynamic content retrieval, state management, accessibility techniques, device-portability/ cross-browser support, internationalization issues, and version control software
Deep experience designing modular, object-oriented JavaScript
Strong command of the HTTP protocol and the latest web standards
Bonus points for experience working with HTML5 & experimented with mobile platforms like Android/iOS/Windows
