Job description for Payroll Processor :
Undertaking responsibility for Payroll Processing and Accounting for UK Employees Payroll using SAP;
Strong knowledge of UK payroll and pensions processes and remittance issues including understanding of employee taxation, country compliance, PAYE, RTI and auto-enrolment procedures etc.. Should be well versed with global SAP payroll structures and screens and various complexities associated with international projects deployed staff salary disbursements.
Ability to verify payroll data, provide early recognition of potential problems and provide effective and innovative thought process in handling complex payroll issues. Should have hands on experience of payroll results verification, ideally of in-house payroll.
The job description will include handling monthly payroll activities end-to-end, including employee interactions, change management, output verifications, payroll related reconciliations etc. aiming toward accurate and timely delivery of payrolls. It would also include providing analysis and reporting of payroll based financial information for statutory needs and other ad-hoc reporting as needed to the management.
The candidate should be a self-starter, capable of working multiple tasks to conclusion within tight schedules.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively function in a matrix organization and manage complex / sensitive activities in a team setting.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively interface at all levels of the organization;
Competency and soft skill set of MS-Excel / Word / Email writing and good understanding of SAP payroll systems and procedures.
Previous work experience on any other Payroll ERP will be an added advantage.
